Once a busy Victorian dock serving the British Empire, the area has been beautifully regenerated into a peaceful marina surrounded by cobbled walkways, boats, restaurants and cafes - offering a rare sense of calm in central London. Despite its tranquil setting, you'll be staying right in the heart of the city, with many of London's most famous landmarks just minutes away on foot. Tower Bridge and Tower of London only a few minutes walk away. Trinity Square Gardens - a quiet green space near the Tower, ideal for a short stroll. HMS Belfast - around 15 minutes on foot. Tower Millennium Pier - around 12 minutes on foot. From here, you can hop on a river boat (a really scenic way to get around) to destinations including: - Westminster & The London Eye - Embankment - Canary Wharf - Greenwich It is great to take a river boat during the day and walk back to the calm of St Katherine's Dock in the evening. London Bridge - 1.4 miles away. Borough Market - 1.4 miles away. London Eye - 2.9 miles away. The location is extremely well connected: The nearest tube and DLR station is Tower Hill which is about a 7 minutes' walk away. The District and Circle lines take you into the West End in minutes. Tower Gateway DLR is close-by and ideal for Canary Wharf and Greenwich. Several bus routes run nearby and are an easy way to get around while seeing the city: - Bus 15 - Tower Hill - St Paul's - Fleet Street - Trafalgar Square. - Bus 100 - Tower Bridge/St Katherine's Dock - London Bridge - Waterloo. - Bus 343 - Aldgate - City - Holborn - Tottenham Court Road. Bus stops are very close by. River boats offer a scenic way to travel. Many major attractions are within walking distance. Walking is often the easiest and most enjoyable way to explore what the City has to offer. Black cabs, Uber and other ride-share services are readily available throughout the area.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay here for 2 days. The location is perfect — only a 10-minute walk to London Bridge. The view from the window was stunning, especially at night. Seeing London Bridge and the beautiful big buildings all lit up made the experience even more special. The apartment was spotless, very clean, and extremely comfortable. Everything was well organized and prepared for our stay. The kitchen was fully equipped and very easy to use, which made us feel at home. Both the front and back views were lovely and peaceful. The host, Emma, was amazing — very kind, friendly, and helpful. She checked us from time to time to make sure everything was okay and to ask if we needed anything. Her care and attention made our stay even more enjoyable. Everything was perfect, and we truly felt comfortable and relaxed. I highly recommend this place and would definitely love to stay here again when visiting London. ⭐

I truly loved my stay here. The location is amazing, just a short walk to Tower Bridge, with a supermarket right downstairs and the No. 100 bus nearby, which made everything so easy and stress-free. The apartment felt very comfortable and well thought out. Everything you need is provided, and being able to make my own breakfast in the morning, with the coffee machine and toaster. Emma was absolutely wonderful. Communication was smooth and fast, and when there was a heating issue, she resolved it incredibly quickly. I’m genuinely very grateful for her help and kindness. It really made me feel cared for as a guest. I would happily return and highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.

A lovely flat, beautifully decorated with lovely small touches. Located near St Katherine's Dock and all the walks and restaurants nearby, yet more peaceful than you would expect due to it being several floors up and not right next to the restaurants. We found the place to be incredibly comfortable and well equipped, offering exactly what we needed for a few days stay. The hosts were also super responsive and accommodating. Thank you! Nearby you have everything you need fro shops, to restaurants to walks and public transport. A wonderful peaceful location right on the doorstep of the bustle of London.

Came here for our 3 year anniversary. We really enjoyed our stay the host went above and beyond to make sure we were welcome and had everything we needed. It was very clean and tidy and had a lovely setup. The icing on the cake was the location - the Tower Bridge is beautiful at night (only a 5 minute walk), not to mention the view of St Katherine Docks right outside the bedroom window. Only thing to note was that the pipes were loud during the night however this is down to the building and not the host at all. Emma and Jamie did a wonderful job! Thank you :)

I had a lovely stay at Nightingale House. It’s cosy and compact, while also being incredibly warm and welcoming — it truly has everything you need. One night definitely wasn’t long enough, and I’ll absolutely be returning. Emma is a fantastic host, very responsive and extremely helpful. The location is unbeatable, daytime and nighttime views to die for. I want to live here— 1000/10!
